COIN INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 7 June 2026

Welcome to CIS | Coin Intelligence System.

These Terms & Conditions explain how you may use our website, coin valuation tools, subscription plans, digital content, and related services.

By using this website or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. About CIS

CIS | Coin Intelligence System provides AI-powered coin intelligence, valuation guidance, rarity interpretation, market signals, collector notes, and buy, hold, or pass decision support for British coins.

CIS is designed to support collectors, sellers, and investors with smarter coin research. It does not replace professional numismatic advice, auction house assessment, independent grading, or financial advice.

2. Our Services

CIS may provide:

  • coin valuation guidance

  • fair value estimates

  • rarity and market signals

  • collector notes

  • market insight

  • coin specification pages

  • free limited access

  • paid subscription access

  • educational and research content

We may update, improve, restrict, or remove parts of the service at any time.

4. Coin Valuations and Accuracy

CIS uses structured logic, market evidence, rarity interpretation, grade assumptions, and valuation rules to produce coin intelligence.

However, valuations are estimates only. We do not guarantee that a coin will buy or sell for the value shown by CIS.

Actual market price may be higher or lower depending on:

  • confirmed grade

  • authenticity

  • damage or cleaning

  • rarity and demand

  • auction timing

  • seller reputation

  • buyer interest

  • photography and listing quality

  • market conditions

You should always verify important coins with a qualified numismatist, reputable dealer, grading company, or auction house before making a significant purchase or sale.

5. User Responsibility

You agree to use CIS responsibly.

You must not:

  • misuse the valuation system

  • attempt to reverse engineer the engine

  • copy or scrape large parts of the database

  • use automated bots without permission

  • submit false or misleading information

  • use CIS content to create a competing database or valuation product

  • interfere with the website, payment system, or user accounts

We may restrict or suspend access if we believe the service is being abused.

6. Free Access and Visitor Access

CIS may offer limited free valuations to visitors and registered free users.

Free access limits may change at any time.

Some features may only be available to paid users, including full market insight, advanced signals, enhanced notes, or unlimited valuation access.

We may change limits, features, or access rules as the service develops.

7. Paid Plans and Subscriptions

CIS may offer monthly and yearly paid plans.

By purchasing a plan, you agree to pay the price shown at checkout.

Your plan gives you access to the features described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Monthly plans renew monthly. Yearly plans renew yearly.

You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before the next billing date if you do not want it to renew.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through your account settings, Wix account area, or by contacting us if account cancellation is not available.

Cancelling stops future renewal payments.

Your paid access will normally continue until the end of the current billing period.

We do not usually provide refunds for unused time unless required by law or stated otherwise.

9. Cooling-Off Rights and Digital Access

UK consumers may have cancellation rights when buying online, including a 14-day cooling-off period in many situations.

Because CIS provides digital access shortly after purchase, you may be asked to confirm that you want immediate access to the digital service.

Where legally allowed, once immediate digital access has started, refund rights may be limited, especially where the service has already been used.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

10. Refunds

Refunds are considered case by case.

We may refuse a refund where:

  • the user has already used the paid service

  • access has already been provided

  • the billing period has already started

  • the request relates to a change of mind after using the service

  • the request falls outside applicable consumer rights

We will comply with any refund rights required by UK consumer law.

11. Prices and Plan Changes

We may change our prices, plan names, features, or access limits.

Price changes will not normally affect an active paid period already purchased.

Future renewals may be charged at the updated price where legally permitted and where notice is provided if required.

All prices, plan benefits, billing periods, and renewal terms should be checked before purchase.

12. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure.

You must not share paid account access with other people unless we expressly allow it.

If we detect unusual usage, account sharing, automation, or abuse, we may restrict or suspend access.

13. Intellectual Property

All CIS branding, text, valuation logic, page copy, design, scoring structure, data structure, market insight, graphics, and website content belong to CIS or its licensors unless stated otherwise.

You may use CIS content for personal research.

You must not copy, reproduce, resell, scrape, republish, or use CIS content commercially without written permission.

14. Third-Party Services

CIS may use third-party services, including website hosting, payment processing, analytics, email systems, APIs, advertising tools, and external data providers.

We are not responsible for third-party service downtime, payment provider errors, external API failures, or external websites linked from CIS.

15. Website Availability

We aim to keep CIS available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The website may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, hosting problems, external API failures, security updates, or other reasons.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CIS is not liable for losses caused by:

  • reliance on valuation estimates

  • buying or selling decisions

  • inaccurate coin descriptions submitted by users

  • market price changes

  • loss of profit

  • loss of opportunity

  • website downtime

  • third-party service failure

  • data or display errors

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

17. Privacy and Data

Your use of CIS is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on this page.

Continued use of CIS after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
